Should a member of your group become intoxicated…

Spring break is quickly approaching, but before you flock south for the winter take with you some safety tips.

When checking in to hotels, book rooms above the first floor but below the sixth floor. Why? First floor rooms are easier to break into, and rooms above the sixth floor are sometimes too high for fire ladders to reach. If safes are provided use them for any valuables you may have. Keep doors and sliding doors locked, and don’t let anyone into your room unless you can trust them.

Always remember to bring your id when headed out. Clubs do check id’s… Forget yours and you can forget drinking. While drinking remember to pace yourself and avoid hard alcohol or other drinks that are powerful and have fast effects. Should a member of your group become intoxicated, never leave them alone. If they pass out, make sure they sleep on their side to prevent choking, and if their level of consciousness is too low to get a response, call 911.

1. Awesome! The Sony Digital Am/Fm Dual Alarm Clock  Radio w/ LCD Photo Frame is a great Christmas present. This clock radio, not only performs the duty of waking you up in the morning and allowing you to listen to the local stations; but you can also listen to you IPod on it, while looking at your favorite photos on your memory card. Can you say great accessory!!

Weekly Infatuation: Trey Songz…yuuup!

Yum! I don’t know if it was the braids holding him back, but it seems like as soon as they were gone I became a BIG fan of r&b singer Trey Songz. Since cutting his hair, Trey has been featured on more songz, sold more records, and giving ladies fever like no other in 2009. I can’t get enough from his albums, mixtapes, blogs, websites, and ustream videos! I’ve seen this artist go from a teeny bopper singing about “making it” to a full grown man singing about love, sex, and relationships. The transition appears to have happen with the lost his hair and I am completely feeling his newfound swag. Call me lovestruck, thirsty or whatever all I know is that Trey Songz is a fine specimen

Hello World,

My name is Monica and….

I really find it interesting that there are so many blogs out there but none ( and I mean NONE) that speak to exactly how I feel about certain issues regarding my way of life. So I figured the best thing to do was to pull out my chair and  jott down a few mental points that go thru my head on a daily basis.  This blog is more like a journal than anything else! This isn’t a repetitive site that regurgitates feeds or post from other sites. This is simply a blog of the various random thoughts that I think about.

Now as a warning some of the posts on here may appear very bias or one-sided. If you happen to become a loyal reader to this site(which is my hope and dream) or even a visitor and don’t like what you read; then you will then be faced with two options. The first option (the one I heavily recommend) is to respond to the post and let your voice be heard! The second option is to leave!  LOL   Granted I know I shouldn’t be encouraging any distaste with my blog, but I feel obliged to say that I will never have the intention of offending anyone.
