Are the Denver Bronco’s cursed?

Kenny McKinley, was found dead in his home Monday. The 23-year-old wide receiver for the Denver Broncos, committed suicide.

At the time of his death, McKinley, who was in his second year as a pro, was on the injured reserve list for the second time in eight months; as a college athlete, he was the University of South Carolina’s all-time leading receiver.

According to TheDailyBeast.com, he’s the third Broncos player to die in the last four years.

Following cornerback Darrent Williams who was killed in a drive-by shooting in 2007 and running back Damien Nash who collapsed and died during a charity basketball game a few months later.

It seems as though deaths are plaguing this team. Could it be a curse?

What’s up lovers?

How’s your new year been? What new things have you accomplished? What things are you still trying to accomplished? Being a woman in this high-tech fast paced world is pretty complicated. Trying to balance a career, family, friends, and dating/relationships can be a challenging thing.

That is why I created this blog. Originally, I made it as journal to mirror my mind. However, the more I write and share with you guys the more I realize that this blog is much more than that. This blog is an escape from everyday stressors, it tackles issues and puts them into perspective.

This year I will make more of an effort to share things about me and indulge you into heated debates about current events. Last year, was just the toe testing the water; this year plan to get wet! Holla!

My name is Monica and….

I really find it interesting that there are so many blogs out there but none ( and I mean NONE) that speak to exactly how I feel about certain issues regarding my way of life. So I figured the best thing to do was to pull out my chair and  jott down a few mental points that go thru my head on a daily basis.  This blog is more like a journal than anything else! This isn’t a repetitive site that regurgitates feeds or post from other sites. This is simply a blog of the various random thoughts that I think about.

Now as a warning some of the posts on here may appear very bias or one-sided. If you happen to become a loyal reader to this site(which is my hope and dream) or even a visitor and don’t like what you read; then you will then be faced with two options. The first option (the one I heavily recommend) is to respond to the post and let your voice be heard! The second option is to leave!  LOL   Granted I know I shouldn’t be encouraging any distaste with my blog, but I feel obliged to say that I will never have the intention of offending anyone.
